One lesson from Joe's death is that we shouldn't give up one someone just because they have had a few rough patches in their life. We should try to help the people that have troubles in their lives find the good in everyone as even if someone doesn't show you the good in them at first, if you wait long enough they will eventually. Joe's story is very powerful and shows that anyone can make a difference if they put their minds to it and truly want to make a difference in their own community or the world. There are many people in our own community that have had a great childhood and have made some mistakes that most likely feel they have been given up on. I hope that someday they will be able to find some hope and be able to experience the happiness that Joe did.
